I scored a 39. I saw it coming. I grew up in NW DC (although, back in the 80s, DC was hardly what it is now), have never watched a full episode of Oprah, Dr. Phil, or Judge Judy, and don’t have the attention span to be a big movie buff. But I do own a Jimmie Johnson shirt (it was more of a drunken purchase at NASCAR than an ironic one, too).

What’s your score?

I got a 56. I grew up super rural, blur collar breadwinner, the whole nine yards. Some of these questions are pretty hilarious. I wonder if a milking parlor counts as a “factory floor”?

I got 48 points.

34. Interesting.

53 points for me… I think I’m a bit of an anomaly according to this survey. I grew up upper middle class in a semi-smallish Air Force town with parents who were highly educated (PHD and Masters) yet was required to work jobs for my own gas money and weekend cash. I worked all through college (even a job that made me ache, delivering furniture for Badcock in Athens). Oh and apparently I was a shit ton of TV and movies.

Also, I think “going fishing” was an attempt at an everyman type of activity but this past week my brothers and I went on a 8 hour deep sea fishing trip that was kinda pricey, so… YMMV.
